We hope to see you on the National Climate March, in London today, as part of the global day of action against climate change – timed to coincide with the UN Climate Change conference in Poland.

Speakers addressing the march in London include George Monbiot, Guardian columist and bestselling author. The above video is George’s speech to demonstrators at last year’s event.

You can find out more about the National Climate March in London on the Campaign Against Climate Change website. And there’s information about the marches and demonstrations in over 70 other countries, on the Global Climate Campaign website.

Great impassioned speech on the state of the UK’s approach to dealing with climate change. We can only hope that more people step forward, in all countries of the world, to highlight the policies that need to be addressed in the coming years.

@Global Patriot: Thanks for your comment. George Monbiot is a great orator – he writes a column for the Guardian newspaper, in the UK, as well as sharing his views on his blog and Turn Up The Heat website.
