Don’t forget, today is Junk Mail Revenge Day! If you saved up all your junk mail for Junk Mail Revenge Day, today’s the day to send it all back.
A polite note on the envelopes stating that the mail is ‘unwanted’ and instructing the postal service to return it to the sender – at the sender’s expense – will ensure they get the message.
Find out how to stop junk mail to reduce the amount you get in future.

I’ve only got 1 junk mail letter (the usual credit card application) but I’ll be sending it back today to mark ‘Junk Mail Revenge day’ :)
Eight items this week, since Monday, and they’re all going back today! I took your advice on stopping my paper bills and registering with the MPS too, so they should all stop soon. It’s good to know that my little bit will save a few trees and more CO2 emissions.
We didn’t have any and we’re not complaining!! We are registered with the MPS so we don’t get much junk mail and if we do we always send it back with a note on the envelope to be removed from their mailing-list :)

missed it on Saturday but sent them back today: 2 addressed to me and 5 to previous occupants
Well done people! Keep sending it back when you get it (every day can be Junk Mail Revenge Day!) and the senders will get the message. Like Sam, I didn’t have any to return because I’m registered with the MPS and have also opted out of Royal Mail’s ‘door-to-door’ service, so I rarely get junk mail – but, when I do, I send it back too ;-)
