I remember once reading a quote by Einstein something to the effect of, "when the bees go, humanity is soon to follow." That's because of how they pollenate plants. It would take hundreds of people to pollenate the same amount of plants that a bee can. It's encouraging to hear about the project in New Zealand. I just hope that it is enough.

Thanks Paul for that news update. Yes the government can utilize public lands to build power plants to generate renewable power that can light up so many homes in the neighborhood. We need to make a concerted effort to stop using non-renewable sources of energy and switch over to more green methods of creating power to use in the long run.

Thanks for the update.

Excellent roundup as usual, though the prospect of nuclear energy spreading to the poorest countries - those least able to operate plants properly or deal with waste issues.
